Michael Cogan writes imaginative children’s stories about animals, friendship, and the funny lessons that come from wanting what someone else has. His Charlie and Ralph stories follow two adventurous ravens who often find themselves in surprising situations before learning something important. Mike’s stories are inspired by his children when they were young. The stories were to pass the time for the long drives to and from town. He lived in Alaska for 40 years and was always interested in watching the ravens as they played, ate, and defended themselves. Retired and handicapped, he finds joy in sharing adventures with his grandchildren and family.
