About Author
Sherry Patterson is a School Nurse for Dover City Schools in Dover, Ohio. She wrote the Charlie's Tale series for use as a classroom or one on one tool to teach young students about issues that are sometimes difficult to address with them on a personal level. Her children, Amanda and David, and their dog, Charlie are the series' main characters. She uses them in a light-hearted way as bibliotherapy to demonstrate some of the common situations she deals with in her daily school nurse practice. There are discussion questions included at the end of each book to facilitate conversation with students about each health topic.
