Sailing Youtubers. Their channels portray endless explorations of empty white sand beaches and a lifestyle to dream about. I drank it all in for several years, then after retirement, I bought a boat to practice with on Lake Michigan. A couple years after that, I was making my first crossing from Aruba to Jamaica and it did not go well. I now watch sailing channels with a different perspective, and less often. Chasing a dream is sometimes like chasing after the wind.
