What’s up, I’m Miette .K. Ramirez. I’m twelve years old, but I’ll be thirteen in August. Thank you for reading Children of the Zodiac Book one. I hope you liked it. Okay, I’ve only done “About the Author” a few times, so first of all you should know that I am a girl of change. The first draft of Children of The Zodiac is so different from this one you’d be pretty amazed. Okay, I’m exaggerating, but seriously, this draft is different from the first one. I am half-Mexican half-Black and I’ve got a very big family. Just in case you’re wondering, I am a Leo.
I really enjoyed writing this book.
I started writing and being published at age five. At first, they were just minor things, but I decided later on that I wanted to be something that kids usually don’t think about becoming when they grow up.
I would really like to thank my sister Noah, for giving me the idea for Children of the Zodiac.
See, my family and I were watching, Sydney White one night and my mom said it would be strange living with a bunch of people. (Like a sorority) and Noah said something about odd names.
I got the idea about twelve kids living in the same house in a rainy place. At first, They were Cousins named after the Chinese Zodiac signs, who lived in Forks, Washington.
But come on! That made zero sense, it was boring, and can anyone say Twighlight? . it wasn’t until a few days (or weeks) later that I thought of the Western zodiac (or was it the American?)
Anyway that was a better idea.
I hope you enjoyed.

Yours truly,
Miette .k. Ramirez

P.S.
Children of the Zodiac is a series!
Book two is called Those who Dwell.
