This narrative was written to tell the story of Thay Morales, who immigrated to America at the age of ten with her mother, father, brother, and sisters, and how she overcame the obstacles to chase her dreams.

As students, we were given this narrative as a project in our American Studies class. Although, we didn't understand the life changing possibilities, we knew this was not going to be easy. As a group, we learned that nothing is truly impossible, no matter how hard it seems.
