About the Book

Chosen is about a woman who always wanted love from a man. As a little girl she wanted a father daughter bond and as a woman she wanted everlasting love from her husband. She did everything she thought she could to be the perfect girl and the perfect wife. She went through so much to prove her love. She looked to God for help and she had faith that He would one day make her husband a better man. Her heart was shattered by the infidelity and the occasional absences of her husband, but little did she know that her heartache had only just begun; her husband's absence would become permanent. A couple of years have gone and her heart still hurts. She wonders if one day her true love will come and show her things she never seen and make her feel things she never felt. There are some things that keep her from believing that she will ever have that real love; will they be able to enjoy each other. She questions God and wonders what she has done to deserve the suffering and the heartache.

My name is Marquita Butler born Marquita Harris and I am a 32 year old widow with five children. I was born in Texarkana Texas on July 25, 1983 to Patricia Harris and Don Walker. I dream to one day be a successful entrepreneur. I live in Arkansas in a beautiful home that my husband bought for me. I am a god fearing woman and I love to go to church and praise His name. I like shopping for clothes and my home, I love dressing up, and I am blessed to be a mother.
