My name is Lily Palmer. I started by writing small children's stories with morals and sharing them with my peers. Then, in the fourth grade, my class and I worked on poetry as our final unit. At the end of the unit, my teacher entered me and the rest of my class into a poetry contest. It was my favorite unit of all the ones we worked on because of her. My poem did not get published. However, later, in 5th grade, I tried again and got a poem published. Then, in 6th grade, I entered, and I won! I am now a published author, and I want to present to you, my book, "Color War." Enjoy!!!
