This book is about a girl named Rion. Rion grew up in Quebec with her family, and now lives in Campbelton, New Brunswick. This book shows how Rion suffers from her depression, and how ruling over her life it became.

Sierra Bernard is a fourteen-year old girl, who grew up in a variety of towns. "I suffered from depression, but I also conquered it. This is why I wrote the book, to show that it does get better." She lives with her mom and 3 siblings in the small town of Dundas Ontario. She uses the her own, and the stories of her blogging friends for inspiration.
