This cookbook is the result of the challenge I received from a good friend to create a cookbook using things I grew and others I could get from local farmers. All the recipes in this book are made with love by me, under the guidance of my mom and dad. I really liked making this cookbook because it got me to try new foods I didn't know I liked, I learned to can using the water bath method, and got better at my BBQ technique. I know some of these recipes look hard but they are surprisingly easy. This has been a great year for my garden and I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Ben "Beans" is a 10 year old who loves to cook! He helps his mom plan out their garden every year and uses what they grow to create new recipes. He is active in 4H showing his heeler, Sallie Ann as well as chickens, a quilt and the strawberry honey butter found in this cookbook.
