About the Book
Writing this cookbook had been a complete joy for me, as I have written it during my engagement to my wonderful husband. I wanted to have a collection of yummy dishes to make for me and my new family. So,naturally I turned to my family,my church family, and to the Kilgore family. About Author
As a new young wife,growing up living in the South, I know better than anyone that to be a good Southern wife you've got to know how to cook. But I began to notice that every young woman around me was giving up on the loving art of cooking. So, when I got engaged I immediately ran to my mother and grabbed all of her recipes and even asked all of my shower guests to bring their favorite recipe so I could begin to build up a collection of wonderful delicious dinners for me and my new husband.
I come from a long line of great cooks and I'm NOT going to let it die with them.
