CYNTHIA R.ZELDIN WAS BORN IN BROOKLY, NEW YORK ON FEBRUARY 27, 1940 ON A COLD WINTER DAY.

HER PARENTS WERE SOPHIE AND BERNARD RUTSTEIN AND HER BROTHER WAS LONNIE RUTSTEIN.

CINDY,(AS SHE LIKED TO BE CALLED) ALWAYS LOVED COOKING AS A CHILD. HER MOTHER WORKED LONG HOURS IN A RETAIL STORE AND CINDY WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING THE MEALS. SHE WAS COOKING FOR THE FAMILY BY THE TIME SHE WAS FOURTEEN YEARS OLD.

COOKING AND BAKING WERE ALWAYS ASSOCIATED WITH LOVE. THE WONDERFUL AROMAS AND SATISFACTION SHE GOT FROM MAKING NEW THINGS WOULD BRING HER LOTS OF HAPPINESS ESPECIALLY DURING UNAHPPY TIMES.

THESE WONDERFUL RECIPES CAN NOW BE SHARED BY THOSE THAT SHE LOVES.
