Creek tells the story of a town oppressed by an evil queen. The inhabitants of this town, all of which are animals, must find a way to overthrow their dictator if they want to regain their former freedom. This book was written by Taylor Aamot and illustrated by Jordyn Aamot. Both, however, worked together in imagining the story.

Jordyn and Taylor Aamot are high school students at Ribet Academy. They are a sophomore and a senior, respectively. Jordyn has always aspired to be an artist, and Taylor loves to write. Because of this, the two have been thinking about working on a book together for a long time. Ribet's 2015 English Fair provided the perfect opportunity to do so. Having greatly enjoyed the process, Jordyn and Taylor look forward to completing more stories in the future.
