Sarah Clausen is a student at Monroe Middle School. Crow’s Peak earned her the 2010 Rising Young Author award for her school.
She became interested in writing in fourth grade when her teacher, Mrs. Lopez, had the class write short stories for homework. It was her classmates’ positive reaction to her writing that made Sarah seriously consider becoming a writer. Over the years, she found that she enjoyed writing horror stories best.
Sarah also enjoys reading and listening to music.
