What happens to unused ideas? Where do they go? Maybe it's an idea for a story, or a short poem, or even a tune.
An idea is scribbled on a piece of paper, but later it's decided that something is not quite right. So the idea is thrown away.
But what if those unused ideas can linger on? This is the story of two tossed away ideas that come together by chance, and create something remarkable.

Creating children's books was something I said I would love to try when I retired as a graphic designer having worked in both the corporate world and advertising agencies. Illustrating and writing children's books keeps my creative juices flowing, and also is bringing back wonderful memories of my own childhood. My cat, Bootsie, keeps me company curled up asleep next to the computer whenever I'm working on a book. I love taking photos of nature, animals and unusual architecture. Some of my best ideas for stories come when I'm out in nature photographing.
