I wrote this book to inform everyone of the dangers of drug abuse and the many problems that it can cause. I was inspired to write about this topic because of all the people I have seen suffer from drug abuse. I believe that if people are informed of drug addiction and the problems it can cause early in their life, they would have a greater chance of never suffering from drug abuse. This book also is to inform of the problems drugs have caused to Mexico and to encourage support for the fight againt drugs. If we spread this message of staying away from drugs it can create a brighter future for the next generations to come.

My name is Herman Valderas Ibarra and i am 17 years old. I was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, but was raised in a small town in San Luis Potosi, Mexico called La Loma. I learned to live a simple life and many other things as well. I lived there till i was 8 then my parents brought me back to North Carolina. Since then I have been living in Willow Springs. I live in a small neighborhood full of family so i kind of feel like im back at home in La Loma. I was raised on a tough and crazy enviroment surrounded by some bad people at times, but i never let that get the best of me. My motto has and always will be no pain no gain, Because I have learned to make my mistakes into learning experiences.
