About the Book

This is a book of poems that I started back in high school in Mrs. Meyers English Lit. class. Since graduating high school, I have continued to write poetry when an idea hits me. I watch other people to get ideas or from personal experiences.

I hope you enjoy reading these poems to realize that everything happens for a reason in life and that things will get better if only you believe in God. He has a plan for each of us.

I am a 44 year old mother of three and a grandmother of a grandson who's the apple of my eye.
I was born and raised in the country by two wonderful parents, Jerry and Sue Joiner, who are still happily married after over 45 years of marriage. I am the oldest of three daughters. I have two sisters, Carlene and Jill. Carlene has two daughters, Allison, 20 and Jeri Renee, 17 and Jill has one daughter, Ashley, 17.
My daughter, Leann, is 24, married and is the mother of my grandson. I have a 21 year old son, Brandon and an 18 year old son, David, who just graduated from high school that I'm very proud of.

I enjoy bowling, horseback riding, garage sales, flea markets, estate auctions, movies, dining out at different restaurants, playing softball, watching football (NFL only and my favorite teams are Raiders, Steelers, Giants, Cowboys, Colts, Broncos and Packers), writing poetry of course, collecting lighthouses, S&P shakers, unicorns, eagles, wolves figurines, Scooby_Doo stuff, playing games online, visiting family and friends and a lot more.
