About Author
Caleb Mancino is a teenage boy who has autism and absolutely loves the “David” series of books by David Shannon. It all began when Caleb wanted to read a book called “David Goes to Grandma's House” - hwever, there isn't one – and he wanted “the man” [David Shannon] to write it, but Shannon had not written one. So, Caleb's grandma encouraged Caleb to “write” it himself by dictating it to her since his autism makes the physical act of writing too difficult for him. All of the ideas within these books are from the beautiful mind of Caleb Mancino.
