When two people are destined to be together, not even geographical barriers can keep them apart. Immediately after getting married, my wife and I lived in different countries for a while and found poetry as a very effective medium to convey our feelings and stay connected during this difficult period. By our first anniversary we defied the odds to be together, but then came new challenges.
We believe this collection of poems will find resonance with anyone in a relationship, long distance or not, and will help to diversify their communication machinery, which is paramount in any relationship.
These poems celebrate our marriage as we yearned to be with each other and express appreciation for the rare moments we were able to share together as newlyweds. Our love, commitment and trust in God were stronger than any geographical barrier that stood between us.
