About Author
My name is Tammy Marie Henry I was born in Gary,Indiana 1967 from Alberta and Melvin C. Henry! I was the last born. In all mom had 6 children.5 girls and one boy. My parents were great people. We moved to East Chicago,IN when I was 12 a few months after my dad was murder. At that moment I began writing poetry. A few years of living in East Chicago I got pregnant I give birth to a beautiful baby girl I named her April Marie!born April 20th 1984. After a few months in E.C. I decided to leave! just me and my baby. Me and her dad was on bad terms but that's another story. So when I finished high school we left and moved to Minnesota. I lived with my mom's sister! which she was very good to us. We lived there for about a year or so and I saved up enough money from my job and from there me and my April were in our own place. From there that's when I knew Minnesota would be a great home us. About 8 year later I had two more children Aaron and Aja. Life was wonderful.
