Shawn is a dragon who is offered a position as the co-ruler of Dragon Valley by his evil guardian Acpel, but it comes with a price. He must kill the current kings of the dragons, known as The Elders of The Valley, and fight his best friend! But when Shawn refuses, he is hunted by Acpel and seeks refuge with the Elders who give him a quest to fulfill. Shawn faces challenges along the way that make him question his loyalty and his friends. Will Shawn be able to complete his quest even if it means death?

Ella Norgad has always been fascinated by dragons and ancient history. Her inspiration is The Chronicles of Narnia which brought around her love for reading and literature. While growing up, Ella noticed the lack of clean fiction for teens and has dedicated her work to expand that field. Ella Norgad enjoys traveling to other countries and collecting their folklore. She lives in a small cottage in the mountains that has even appeared in some of her stories.
