Julie's husband Michael was struck down before his prime and taken away too soon for his loved ones. Their first grandson Dylan, was too young to remember his Papaw so Julie did all she could to keep his memory alive for Dylan and all the other grandchildren to come. Before Michael passed away they discussed the possibility of him being able to let Julie know that he made it safely to heaven. Michael enjoyed Indian rituals and one of best is about butterflies. It was said, if you tell your wish to a butterfly it will fly to heaven and give your wish to God if the butterfly comes back you know God is going to grant your wish. After Michael's passing when the family was at his burial site they all let butterflies go and before they did they all made a wish and Julie's wish was for Michael to let her know he made it safely to heaven. Days later when Julie woke up and walked out on the front porch there were literally hundreds of butterflies everywhere. Michael was in Heaven!
