Caleb the elf and his friends, Kinley and Kennedy are testing out Santa's sleigh right before Christmas on a blustery day. Suddenly it gets very windy and they know a blizzard is coming, so Caleb must make an emergency landing in the middle of nowhere. The friends must wait out the storm before they can return home to The Christmas Village, a town in the North Pole. The reindeer with the sleigh suddenly take off in flight without the elves, leaving them stranded. The elf friends must then find their way back home on foot before Christmas, or the holiday will be ruined for everyone. They must journey through the snowy terrains of this unknown part of the North Pole, but the big question is, "Will Caleb, Kinley, and Kennedy make it back to the Christmas Village in time for Christmas?"

Annika Rotvold is a sophomore at Hillsboro High School and lives in Hillsboro, North Dakota with her parents, Lisa and Elliot Rotvold, her fifth grade brother, Avery, and her puppy, Hoosier. Annika is participates in cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track for the Hillsboro Central Valley Burros. She is also involved in Science Olympiad, speech, 4H, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions,) band, and choir.
