In the first book of the trilogy, Ember, a dragon-cheetah hybrid—or dreetah—faces difficult challenges as a cub that could separate her from the ones she loves most. Later on, with a new pride of hybrids and new ways of life to adjust to, Ember and her newfound friend named Destiny set off on an adventure in Elektra, their home planet, up the dangerous Mount Blackthorn. If they can overcome the challenges thrown at them left and right, Ember and Destiny may be able to find information that could guide them to save the future of all of the galaxy Aquila.
