I grew up in Des Moines. I had a great life. I have a big family and I was always doing things. I have one brother who is 6 years older so we didn't really do things together. I have gone to Grand View for my whole life. I'm so fortunate. It has been one of the best experiences of my life. Since I only had one sibling much older than me, I hung out with friends a lot. Growing up with a class made of mostly girls meant that there were so many friend options. But that has its cons too. There was a lot of drama. People said things that hurt my feelings and I said things that hurt their feelings. That's how life is. When that happened, I didn't always respond how Jesus would've. When circumstances like that come into our life, we need to remember that God will help us through it. Remember to always pray.
