I would like to dedicate this book to my two wonderful mentors who had a lot of faith in me. I want to definetly dedicate this to all the wonderful Chicana's who inspired me to put down some of their memories and to bring it to life in my book. Most of all this is dedicated to my mother Karla Cano. Love you lots mom and thank you for always having my back and for supporting me in whatever decision i have made. You are the rock who keeps me grounded and I hope you like it.

Leslie Cano, a spirited and inspirational young woman is an aspiring Chicana writer. She graduates from Pioneer High School, a small campus in beautiful Whittier California, in June of 2012. Soon afterward, she will nursing and continue writing about her culture, her friends, her family, and her experiences.
