About the Book

Nature grows many wonderful organisms, and flowers happen to be my favorite! When I'm out hiking and exploring, I may trail past a wildflower, or a flowering tree during spring or fall. Flowers help our environment too, for they provide pollen for the insects, they create oxygen, and they help create a beautiful day. Flowers are used for many important things, and flowers help make up the beauty of life and so much more.

I'm a Hoosier first and I reside in sunny, coastal Georgia. Home to me has been West Germany, Kentucky, and of course Indiana. If I have not had such wonderful, brilliant parents whom instilled the importance and knowledge of our environment and nature within me back then, I probably wouldn't be writing this book today.
