An evil king with a very dangerous power has been planing something mysterious for the past 2,000 years. A poison arrow has been discovered and hidden within the kingdom.
Siblings, Nimrodel and Theoden Halford, discover a strange tree that seems to have a glow to it. They find out that it's a portal, and make friends with the kids who were unknowingly sent to find them.
They find out that they have been watched by the wolf king and begin training to become a 'guardian' for this new world. When sent on a secret journey to the evil kingdom, an ambush and betrayal happen, forcing the children to continue their mission with out the safety from the animals.
