This bio is about my mother who is the greatest contributor of recipes to this book and as far as I am concerned she was one of the greatest cooks that I have ever to know, her name is Stella Chism Baker. She was Born May 6th, 1947 in Mississippi the Daughter of farmers Frank Boyd Chism and Azley Dorine Young Chism. She Graduated in May 1965 from Blue Mountain High School, but she wouldn't get the chance to go to college until August 1994. Due to her health she was unable to complete college but to everyone who knew her she was already a success. She was a kind and very generous person. She gave and did for others unselfishly. She loved her family and not a day went by that she didn't take the time to show them. She was a hard worker and had a passion for cooking. She even held positions cooking for the public. With that being said she would still cook and bake for family and friends in her spare time. She loved making candies for the holidays.I hope you enjoy!
