Phyllis G. Peterson’s collection of favorite Peterson Family recipes acquired through the years from Swedberg and Peterson family members, and from many family friends in Dayton, Iowa, and other communities. Originally published by Phyllis in 1984, this second edition update was catalyzed by son Tim Peterson and the PF Foundation, with help from son Roger Peterson and family friend Linda Hansen.

Phyllis Georgea Swedberg was born July 24, 1930, in Wheaton, MInnesota, as the youngest of three daughters to Felix and Esther Swedberg. She married Delpho P. Peterson of Hallock, Minnesota, at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in Wheaton on August 12, 1950, and together Phyllis and Delpho raised seven children and opened their Dayton, Iowa home to one foster daughter and two foreign exchange students before moving to Keokuk, Iowa. Phyllis died after a three-year battle with pancreatic cancer in Bradenton, Florida, on March 13, 2003, surrounded by Delpho and her children, entering into her eternal heavenly reward with Jesus.
