A Collection of poems consisting of my life's journey from childhood to present. Most of my poems were taken from real life encounters, putting them into words helped me to deal with the emotions that comes with what life brings you. Some of my poems are my observations of life and what I see in people as they go about their lives in a world where people don't seem to have the time to stop and enjoy life.

About Author
Marianna B. Cleveland (1960-Present) Was Born In Amelia, Virginia; Her Father Richard M. Booker Sr., A Pulpwood Hauler And Mechanic Died When Marianna Was 47 Years Old. Her Mother Marian L. Booker, A Waitress And Housewife Is From White Plains, New York. The Family Lived In Amelia County Where Marianna Attended Amelia County Elementary, Middle And High School, She Graduated In 1978. Marianna Then Went To Work For A Check Printing Company For Eight Years. After Two Failed Marriages, She Left Amelia To Live In The Suburbs Of East Orange, New Jersey With One Of Her Older Sisters, Judy Booker. Not Being Able To Adapt To The Fast Pace Of New Jersey, She Returned And Later Married The Love Of Her Life, Mr. Ernest Richard Cleveland. Marianna Then Went On To Work For A Prestigious Insurance Company. In June Of 2000, She Had Her First And Only Son, Ernest Jr. And Now Lives Happily Ever After In Amelia County Where In Her Spare Time Writes Her Heartfelt Poetry.
