As the shelter veterinarian of the Sonoma County Animal Services I met many cats and their families who were affected by the devastating 2017 Santa Rosa fires. Their stories are both heartbreaking and inspiring. The bravery and resilience of the cats in my care and the love they have for their humans touched my soul.
