About Author
My name is Sallee Bonham and my home is in South Central Missouri about 30 miles from where I was born. Although I have lived in Puerto Rico, on the East Coast, and on the Gulf Coast, my heart has always belonged to South Central Missouri.
Until 1994, my writing was just that, mine. My poetry was very personal and I didn’t think about it in terms of good, bad, or in between. With the encouragement of my family, I began to submit my writing for publication.
