The Life Journey of Frank H. Chambers
A person may ask “What cause you to write these stories?” It was this question “Grandpa, did you see any of those buzz bombs?” My response unlocked more than 50 years of unexpressed memories. In addition to my recollection, I was able to secure War department documents describing my 75th Division day by day activities. Also my family had saved many of my letters. In 1999, I returned to the Battle of the Bulge site in Europe and viewed many familiar scenes of 55 years ago. Now this selection also has stories that “bookend” my military services. They gave balance to my life’s journey.
