By day, he works in a team solving tricky engineering problems and building clever things. By night (and sometimes at weekends!), he swaps blueprints for storybooks and brings gentle adventures to life.

When he’s not writing, he’s often designing and 3D printing imaginative creations, proving that with a little patience and creativity, you really can build almost anything.
