From My Mother's Heart - Poetry from Elsie Marian Carlton

I've never met my grandmother but I wish I did. I know that if I had the chance that I would love her. I can only imagine what she may be like. From what I’ve been told, my maternal grandmother was full of life. I have been told many stories about her, but never met her in person. I never knew her because she died four months after I was born. Elsie liked to write poetry. I’d like to share it with you.
