About the Book
In this story, George is in a wheelchair, and is constantly made fun of, and doesn’t have any friends. He always watches the other kids play at recess, and gets sad that he can’t play with them. Everything changes when he meets Billy and starts playing basketball. As soon as people see how good George is at basketball, they stop making fun of him.

Alannah Lewer, a seventh grader at Mosinee Middle school, is not planning on becoming a writer in the future, but she figured she could at least try by writing this short children’s book. Some of her hobbies include volleyball, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
