About the Book
Gerry is a giraffe who was proud of himself,especially his purple heart that was right over his heart. Gerry didn't realize that his unique design was one of kind, until three other giraffes approached him. That day changed Gerry's life, because he did not realize that those three other giraffe's could be so mean, and tease him and make him cry. The three giraffe's soon found out they had to say they were sorry and soon became long life friends.

About Author
My name is Sonia M. Walls-Richards and I live in the beautiful Island of Netherlands, Antilles in St. Maarten. I am original from Columbus,Ohio where I grew up, and my parents are Lula Knox and Elmer Walls. I have always had a passion for children even as a child, enjoying watching children grow ,learn, and experience life through play. I have 4 beautiful daughters, Cheesha, Kia, Keyona & Ariell, who are all grown up with their own children. The distance between us all, keeps me missing them. I am also a Minister through the guidance of Bishop A.S. Yancy in Ohio. The reason I live in St. Maarten is because I got married, and my husband Eustace Richards, didn't want us living so far away from each other. I am currently an assistance teacher at Asha Stevens Hillside Christian School, were I assist other teachers in multiple classrooms, and tutor children in reading. I am also working on my Bachelor of Science degree for special needs and elementary children. That's all folks!
