This is a fun fractured fairytale about a girl named Gingerella who lives in Brooklyn, New York but she does not look like every other girl in Brooklyn. She has long, curly, red hair and she wears ugly shoes which her sisters make fun of all the time. One day, Gingerella ate so much that she fell into a deep sleep and her sister could not wake her up! Who will save Gingerella?

About the Author.
Megan Golembiewski is a Childhood Education major at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, New York. For her Elementary Writing Instruction class, she had to write a children's book. She wanted to write a story about the bond with her sisters, with whom she is very close. Megan has two sisters of her own and they are very different from one another, but the bond with her sisters is very strong and this story represents that. She also wanted to a write a story that every girl in Brooklyn, New York can relate to. Being different is not bad, it means that you are uniquely beautiful in your own way and never let anyone change that.
