About the Book
This story is inspired by a young girl named Sierra. Sierra had difficulty getting along with friends because she was different than the other girls in her class. She liked to play with girls and do what the girls typically did, but she also wanted to do the things boys were ONLY allowed to do. Growing up she always heard "Girls aren't allowed to do that" and she was not going to let that stop her.

About Author
Carlos Avila is living in the great state of New Mexico. Hoping to become an educator, and share his experiences and insights with the young people of the future. He enjoys volunteering in his community, working with others, and spending time with his family and friends.
