A native of Hungary and a survivor of Auschwitz, Gitta Edelstein is a self-taught artist with a keen eye of patterns and colors. Many of her works have Jewish themes, and birds are a recurring elements - signifying freedom. Gitta resides with her husband of 65 years, Dov Edelstein, in Kfar Saba, Israel.
