A First-Nations mother, artist and student of the Miawpukek First Nation, Conne River, Newfoundland. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba; disconnected from the Mi'kmaw First Nations culture. A journey to reconnect that led to the creation of many pieces of art, including this book.
