The Armor of God is a picture of the believer that is likened to a heavy armed soldier. This armor has a two-fold objective: to protect and build character. Every Christian has inherited this armor through the new birth that reconciles us to God through Jesus Christ. We are commanded to put on the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD. Why? It is the answer to the most important questions of life:
1. What is my purpose?
2. What resources or tools do I use to accomplish my purpose?
3. How am I to protect myself against deception, corruption, and false teachings?
4. What do I use for practical help in solving everyday problems?
