Alice G. Bryant was born in Vance, Mississippi. Her colorful life has taken her all over the world. After her daughters graduated from college, she received scholarships and pursued her own post-secondary degree in Education and graduated cum laude from Fayetteville State University. She is currently a retired teacher and lives in North Carolina. Her four sisters, two daughters, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also live in the southeastern United States.
