This book contains the writings of Gordon Robertson. It seemed a pity not to safeguard all the work he put into his memoirs so I have compiled it for the interest of his descendants. Aside from his personal story, there is an enormous amount of fascinating social and local history. It is like a window into the past. The writing is all Gordon's, but I have taken the liberty of adding a comment here and there to clarify some parts.
