I dedicate this book to my best friend and wife, Helen. She has put up with me for over 26 years with patience and fortitude.
Each poem in this book was written with her in mind and intended to show how much she means to me.

I find myself at the end of the working portion of my life and on the threshold of retirement.
And after forty-five years of career building in the Information Technology profession I find it interesting that I find myself starting a writing endeavor. For the last four months I have written almost fifty poems and a handfull of songs.
This is in contrast to no desire for writing of any type during the first sixty-four and a half years of my existence.
So to prove that it is never too late to start something new, I write....
I hope that you find some level of enjoyment as you peruse my interpretations of life and laughter.
