Alice has always wanted to be the first girl to play in Major League Baseball since she was a little girl. She started playing softball in high school and continued in college. But there is a problem with Alice's dream. Girls play softball and boys play baseball. There isn't a professional softball team, so what are girls supposed to do? How will she ever make it?

My name is Samantha. I am 11 years old. This story is based off of my dream. I started playing softball in fifth grade, and I am currently in sixth grade and still playing. My brother got me to love baseball. He is actually the one who got me into playing softball. My dream is to be the first girl to play in Major League Baseball on the Chicago Cubs.
