Alexandra Lloyd has been involved in sports since the age of four. She was diagnosed with Osgood Schlatters Disease at the age of twelve. She underwent many sessions of therapy for a number of years in order for her to continue in athletics.

During her rehabilitation treatments, Alex has used many home remedy exercises that greatly improved her condition and allowed her to continue sports with little discomfort. Alex's journey with sports related injuries has given her the passion to help other athletes who have sustained sports injuries.

Writing this book has given her greater knowledge in many injuries and a better insight at what can be done to help recover from these particular injuries. She feels like it has given her a head start into what she will be learning during her college years as she goes into the Therapeutic field of study.
