How to Say English

Milena comes to America from Bulgaria and knows no English. She has to use hand jesters to try and communicate with the rest of her family. They only know a few words of her native language. She has to learn English so she can understand what her family is saying to her. Milena goes to preschool for the first time and finds that her friends around her are also learning English just not in the same way as her. The teacher labels some of the items in the classroom which is helpful for her to see. Milena begins to learn simple English words and can communicate better with her friends and family.
