During my student teaching, I was given an opportunity to teach the main elements of a fairy tale with my third grade class. With the help of my mentor, Mrs. Hull, we were able to provide enough time for the students to apply what they knew of main elements in order to create and write their own fairy tale. I really enjoyed the look and excitement on the students face when they completed their story, while begging for us to read them.

I am a wife, mother to two teenage boys, and a full-time student. In between all that, I am very involved in my children's activities, as well as hold positions in my church. I love volunteering and spend any extra time with 396 of my students at one of the elementary schools near my home.
