About the Book
IMPRESSIONS is a collaboration of abstract art and poetry by Thomas Edward Green and Abigail Schumann.
It is also an experimental public arts project based on that book.
The desired outcome of this project is (ideally) to sell the book. But also to generate discussion about artistic expression, particularly abstract and non-traditional work, and the influences that shape our interpretations of such work.
We encourage you to contribute on our Facebook page 'ImpressionsArtBook'; to view and read the works presented and share your impressions. We are not looking for ‘critiques and reviews,’ but rather alternate interpretations and inspirations. ‘ If you ‘don’t like’ what we do, there is no need to linger. If it speaks to you in some way, stay and take part in the experiment. Share your own poetry inspired art or art inspired poetry.
